Gulf Coast Community Foundation's 228 Day Celebration

This February, you're invited to join the Gulf Coast Community Foundation (GCCF) for its second annual 228 Day celebration. 228 Day is GCCF’s annual month of giving that strengthens the Community Impact Fund, a vital resource that allows the Foundation to respond quickly when urgent needs arise. From unexpected crises to timely opportunities that maximize matching dollars, this fund helps ensure support reaches neighbors when and where it matters most. Through this fund, GCCF supports communities across the lower six counties — Jackson, Harrison, Hancock, George, Pearl River, and Stone — providing flexible, timely resources that create meaningful impact across the Coast. GCCF will also celebrate 228 Day with events, partnerships, and service opportunities throughout the month, including the GivHer Circle Tour of Back Bay Mission on February 20; student health and wellness kit donation drives in partnership with Junior Auxiliary of Gulfport, Junior Auxiliary of Hancock County, and PrepareHER Now (Jackson County); and the 228 Day Open House & Celebration on February 27.
